Dr. Caleb Schoonover
Dr. Caleb Schoonover completed his optometry degree at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry.
While in school, he was involved with local student government, serving as liaison to the national optometry student association. He was then elected as national president of the American Optometric Student Association and represented optometry students in the United States and Canada.
Dr. Caleb specializes in primary eye care and completed his externship at Triad Eye Center. During this time, he worked extensively providing pre and postoperative care for cataract and Lasik patients.
Dr. Abby Schoonover
Dr. Abby Schoonover enjoys all aspects of primary eye care. She specializes in ocular disease management, specialty contact lens fittings, and pediatric eye care.
Dr. Abby attended optometry school at Northeastern State University Oklahoma College of Optometry where she received academic awards and was recognized for her involvement in student leadership groups.
She specialized in the pediatric ocular development and completed her externship with a distinguished vision therapy clinic. While in school, she volunteered for a medical mission trip to provide eye care in underprivileged countries.
Erika moved from central California and joined Rocky Mountain Family Vision in 2014. She is a certified paraoptometric through the American Optometric Association. She enjoys helping patients choose frames and finding the perfect lens options for their lifestyle. She enjoys living in Colorado and spending time with her husband and kids.
Lyndsay joined Rocky Mountain Family Vision in 2017. She moved to Fort Collins after living in Texas for 16 years. With being our technician, her favorite part is getting to interact with each patient individually, having good conversation, all while getting the patients prepared to see the doctor! When Lyndsay is not at work she enjoys swing dancing with friends, practicing rock climbing skills and exploring everything Colorado has to offer.
Elecia joined Rocky Mountain Family Vison in 2017. She recently moved back home to Loveland after living on the Western Slope. Elecia enjoys greeting each patient with a smile, and strives to make each visit with us pleasant. Elecia is recently married and is looking forward to starting a family. When she is not working she and her husband love to golf, camp, and hike.
Katie moved from the Land of 10,000 Lakes to Fort Collins in 2014 and joined Rocky Mountain Family Vision in 2018. She has a passion for helping others and delivering quality service. In her spare time she enjoys hiking, biking, painting, practicing yoga and spending time by the water. She and her husband enjoy supporting local music, business, artists, and breweries.
